Web Developer/PM – MUST BE A US CITIZEN (Arlignton, VA )

    Job Description:

    The Web Developer/Project Manager will provide support to a DoD program office to support office and organizational process and infrastructure support requirements; specific support may include Defense Connect Online (DCO) technical support and administration, website design and deployment, web content maintenance, organizational process and workflow design and implementation, project management, and providing expert support on general office IT issues and practices.

    Duties:

    The contractor will provide IT, organizational workflow, and website support to include, but not limited to:

    • Provide technical support and instruction to enable organizational utilization of Defense Connect Online (DCO) (a DoD product based on Adobe Connect) and conference call bridge capabilities to support a collaborative work environment from locations around the country;
    • Design, implement, and manage workflow processes to organize the work of geographically separated teams to work on specific projects;
    • Manage performance on up to 12 projects using DCO & commercial workflow process management to produce products on schedule;
    • Re-engineer business processes to gain efficiencies and align business applications with new processes; interface with other organizations’ points of contact to improve data quality;
    • Develop training for the user community on both business processes and software systems;
    • Design, create, modify, and maintain website content on a site within a DoD environment; perform general website maintenance;
    • Ensure the DoD office complies with applicable laws and regulations with respect to website design and deployment;
    • Serve as POC and action officer for information assurance and equipment audits
    • Produce professional Power Point briefs;
    • Interface with Government and/or Contractor personnel to achieve organizational goals; attend meetings as necessary;
    • Field questions of users, partners, and customers of IT systems and information content;
    • Prepare executive correspondence and other documentation;
    • Maintain official files in government filing system;
    • Research and analyze new and complex project-related problems and propose innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology and tools;
    • Conduct market research, technology assessments and administrative support as assigned;
    • Develop documentation and products for delivery to clients;
    • Help resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction; and
    • Foster positive client relationships.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field.
    • 2 – 7 years relevant experience
    • Website design and maintenance
    • Administering web meeting and teleconference solutions
    • Knowledge of issues affecting hosting AF websites
    • Process and workflow design, implementation, and management
    • Knowledge of DoD workflow processes or tools (e.g., Task Management Tool (TMT))
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
    • Project Management

    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Dynamic personality that can adapt to changing requirements
    • Currently possess, or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance. (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.)
