Senior Regulatory Consultant

Requirements: Masters Degree or equivalent experience in biological, chemical or related sciences and/or past regulatory experience. A minimum of five years regulatory experience required.
Duties: Research issues, develop regulatory strategies and provide guidance to clients regarding the requirements and process for registering new pesticide products (antimicrobial, biopesticides and conventionals), active ingredients and inert ingredients used in pesticide products. Evaluate and interpret findings of scientific studies in relation to product support and label development. Coordinate product defense with scientific staff. The candidate will act as a liaison between the client and the U.S. EPA and other agencies. The candidate will be responsible for client base and project development.
The candidate should be able to work with a team of scientists/regulatory staff as well as work independently.Skills: Ability to independently coordinate and implement complex, detailed projects, understand and communicate clearly on scientific and technical issues regarding project support or development. The candidate will discuss issues and negotiate solutions with clients and regulatory officials. The candidate will have the regulatory knowledge and skills to perform the tasks necessary to independently develop strategies, advise clients, coordinate meeting with regulatory officials, make submissions to EPA and serve a client base for which they will be primarily responsible. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills and have the ability to work on several projects at the same time.
