Senior Manager – Business Support (Alexandria, VA)

The Financial Services Division is seeking an individual to lead our Business Support unit of the Service Center, located in Alexandria, VA. The incumbent will manage a team of nine to provide support to field and home office staff, as it relates to the ADA’s donor management system and centralized fulfillment function.

    Specific Responsibilities Include:
    * Oversee support for database help line and memorials/honors program help line.
    * Set processes to communicate and support field staff as it relates to specific fundraising events and programmatic activities.
    * Manage various fulfillment processes including the Memorials and Honors program, and general donation acknowledgments.
    Skills and Attributes:
    * Strong knowledge of non-profit donor based operations in a health related organization a plus.
    * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
    * Multiple-tasks oriented.
    * Great understanding of database applications including the Microsoft Office Suite.
    * Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to a changing fast paced environment.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    * College Degree with 2 – 4 years related work experience
    * Customer service skills with the ability to solve problems quickly
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Team Approach is a plus
    * Management experience
    * Financial transaction processing and donor database knowledge
