Windows Systems Engineer Location: Alexandria, VA Duration: 6-12 months contract Y-Tech Solutions, Inc is seeking SCCM Engineers with specific desktop and server deployment experience to support a program based in Washington DC area. Project is to migrate over 6,000 user machines from Windows XP to Windows 7 (64 bit). We are responsible to help build the infrastructure to support the backend migration, deploy packaged applications and for pushing the new image out to the user machines on a rolling schedule, through zero and light-touch methods.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong experience with Microsoft SCCM, current version a must Ideally is an MCSE with Windows Server and other back-office Microsoft products If they have SWIMAGE experience, great, if not, some equivalent experience works, such as OSD from Microsoft Understands desktop deployment schedules, issues, QA, and metrics Has actual desktop deployment experience, hands on, can tell us how many machines, how the process worked, what they did when it failed, and how it was improved Can provide information (good communication skills) and outline “gotchas” and the details and commitments around working an operating system deployment to a user-base Can obtain and successfully maintain a SEC background investigations (other security clearances help) SCCM Windows Server Desktop deployments on an enterprise scale Multi site deployments Working from a project plan. Can travel to remote locations and perform in front of clients and managers at that site.

DESIRED SKILLS MCSE preferred.
