We are currently looking for a reading tutor to work with a 6th grade student in Clifton.

• Competitive pay – $30-37/hr to start
• You have access to a daily list of new students.
• You are carefully matched with students you can really help and will enjoy working with.
• You choose the locations near your home or workplace that are convenient for you. All of our tutors travel to students’ homes.
• You have the flexibility to create your own schedule of afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.
• We offer hands-on professional development workshops with teacher recertification points.

WE ASK THAT YOU:

• have classroom teaching or extensive tutoring experience with adolescents.
• have reliable personal transportation, as the vast majority our clients are not near the Metro.
• plan on working a minimum of four hours per week during the school year.
• have an enthusiastic, engaging, and encouraging teaching style.
• have at least a bachelor’s degree.
• can make a commitment through the 2011-2012 school year. Super important!
