DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS
Statement of Work: Client is currently providing PMP® certified personnel to manage projects throughout the full lifecycle within the Client’s Office of Information Technology (OIT), Program Management Office (PMO). These certified individuals are responsible for managing the projects and for accomplishing the projects’ objectives within the triple constraints of Cost, Schedule and Scope.
Position Description:
Perform as PM exercising oversight on behalf of the Client OIT PMO of one or more projects currently being implemented.
Perform as PM managing the migration of existing SharePoint 2007 site content to SharePoint 2010 infrastructure.
Assist Branch Chief, OIT PMO Branch with “PMO Enablement”, to include strategizing as well as tactical implementation and some informal training/knowledge transfer relative to Content Management (CM).Duties:
Pre-SharePoint 2007>2010 Migration:
Job Duty 1 – (85%) Project Management oversight of one or more Client OIT projects.
Job Duty 2 – (15%) Work with OIT PMO Branch Chief, to strategize and assist with tactical implementation of CM strategy for the OIT PMO organization.
Upon SharePoint 2007>2010 Migration Project Start:
Job Duty 1 – (90%) As PM, manage the migration of SharePoint 2007 site content to SharePoint 2010 infrastructure.
Job Duty 2 – (10%) Work with OIT PMO Branch Chief, to strategize and assist with tactical implementation of CM strategy for the OIT PMO organization.SKILL/REQUIREMENT:
Required:
• 5 Years: Project Management leadership on Federal Government IT contracts.
• 2+ Years: Migrating content from one Content Management system to another system as a consultant and/or a PM.
• 2-5 Years: PMI Certified PMP® experienced leading Federal Government IT contracts.
• 2+ Years: Excellent Communication Skills, both Written and Oral. . .a Team Player.
Preferred:
• 2-3 Years: Experience with project management of migrating content from Enterprise-wide SharePoint 2007 sites to SharePoint 2010.
• 2-5 Years: PMO Enablement and/or increasing the effectiveness/efficiency of an established PMO as it pertains to CM.
• 1-2 Years: Project Management leadership on Federal Financial Regulatory Agency IT contracts.
