Product Manager (Washington DC)

Truist, the leading provider of global philanthropy solutions, is seeking a full-time Product Manager for our suite of ePhilanthropy products and services. Our clients are corporations and non-profits interested in online solutions for their Corporate Social Responsibility, volunteering, and online giving campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Conduct thorough market and competitive analyses to identify market opportunities and threats.
-Provide market facing input and requirements to the product team as a key input to the product roadmap.
-Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned products from strategic planning and concept definition to tactical activities related to launch, maintenance, and performance.
-Translate business and functionality requirements into software requirements specifications and deliver final specifications documents to software developers.
-Drive the product requirements process by coordinating group sessions with all affected constituents, documenting and validating findings, incorporating feedback, and delivering final specifications documents to the Technology team.
-Develop detailed process flows of the product’s envisioned end state and map them to application functionality.
-Facilitate effective communication between the upstream and downstream constituents by maintaining direct and iterative dialogue aimed at resolving roadblocks and/or scope creep.Other core functions of the role are the following:
-Assist in quality assurance and testing to ensure that all current and new functionality represent an accurate translation of the technical specifications.
-Incorporate QA findings as well as formal and informal customer feedback into the product development process.
-Maintain current knowledge on industry technology, standards and trends, best practices, partners, and competitors.
-Manage vendor/partner relationships for the product.Requirements:
Familiarity with software development cycle, product requirements process, and product marketing. Strong project management and problem solving skills at tactical and strategic levels are essential.Qualifications:
-A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant product management experience.
-Experience with web-based applications.
-Experience writing product or functional requirements and general proficiency with information technology concepts.
-Programming experience would be considered an advantage.
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Compensation includes:
