Policy Communications Coordinator (Arlington (Crystal City))

  • CEA is looking for a Policy Communications Coordinator to support the activities of the CEA Industry & Policy Communications Team and represent CEA on key projects and general industry outreach. This position will entail promoting industry trends and campaign concepts in support of CEA’s divisions, and creating and updating relevant media lists and editorial calendars. More tasks will include: media monitoring, tracking, administrative tasks, and research; drafting and editing press releases, web/blog content, social media content and collateral materials; support programs related to CEA telecommunications and environmental/energy public relations and policy communications. Attending the International CES and other travel will be required.

    This position requires applications to have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communications, English, or Journalism. Candidates will posses excellent communications skills both verbal and written. One must have the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines, work well under pressure, have a team-oriented attitude, posses strong people skills, and display good judgment. It is important to be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
