A custom sign and large format graphics company in Arlington is seeking for a part-time production assistant to join our growing studio. This is a great part-time opportunity (10-15 hours/week) for a graphic student or recent graduate with strong production skills. Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting in print production

• Table work incl. cutting, weeding, masking and laminating

• Assist on small sign installations when needed

• Cleaning up production area, sorting substrates, organizing and ordering supplies, etc.

• Assist in developing sketches/drawings for proposed signage

• Preparing and designing marketing materials for in-house use

We are looking for someone who is:

• Who is a hands-on person

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Reliable and able to work autonomously

• Able to prioritize and multitask

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Suite (CS4) and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent math skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time during production

• Design internships or job in professional environment is a must

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle

• Ability to bend and lift loads not to exceed 50 lbs
