Dulles area computer and electronics manufacturer has an opening for a Manufacturing Production Director. The candidate will be responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating all activities of product manufacturing to meet the schedule and quality objectives of the company. Must work cooperatively with all other departments and functions within the company and poses proper motivational skills to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of production staff. This is a hands-on leadership role and the successful candidate must have experience in successfully developing people, processes, and departmental organizations as well as excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills. Strengths should include: Lean Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management, Workflow Planning & Scheduling Efficiency & Productivity Improvement, Just-In-Time (JIT) Manufacturing, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Master Production Schedule (MPS), and Standards, Budget & Cost Control. 10 years experience in an ISO 9000 environment, strong computer skills, and logistics expertise required.
