TCG is an award-winning, CMMI-appraised, e-Government and e-Business solutions provider. We are seeking a full-time on-site LINUX ADMINISTRATOR, who currently resides in the Washington DC area, for a high-profile project with a major Federal government agency.

The person filling this position will have responsibility for maintaining LAMP production and development environments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux in a dynamic and agile development group.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates MUST meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:

1. US citizenship and the ability to pass an 85-P Trusted Person background check
2. Linux System Administration experience, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) preferred
3. Installation of off-the-shelf commercial software on the RHEL platform
4. Apache Web Server configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
5. MySQL Administration
6. Familiarity with writing SQL queries of moderate complexity
7. PHP Coding experience required
8. Familiarity with Git or other Distributed Version Control System

The following skills are highly desirable:

1. Drupal development experience
2. Java Web Stack experience, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Tomcat Application server
