Graphic Design Associate with Merrifield Garden Center

The Graphic Designer works with a team to handle all in-house signage for all three Merrifield Garden Center store locations, and has additional responsibilities with web, mailers and other marketing materials. Handles entire workflow from conceptualization and design, to printing and displaying of signage. Occasionally handles logistics for events, seminars and contests.

Candidates must:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe CS Environment (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver)
- Have knowledge of html and basic web standards
- Be able to handle multiple projects with varying time frames
- Have a basic understanding of photography
- Be willing to be flexible with tasks and responsibilities
- Be able to adapt to an in-house production workflow
- Be comfortable in a PC environment

An ideal candidate would:
- Have experience working in a digital HD video environment
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Flash
- Have experience with vinyl printing and lettering
- Have experience with large format printing
