The eDiscovery technician reports to the eDiscovery supervisor and helps in the task of processing and preparing data, derived from electronic documents/ scanned paper documents into a client specified format.

The duties performed by the eDiscovery technician include but are not limited to the following:

-Process data to client specifications for review and/or production, most effectively with all provided resources (i.e., manpower, hardware, deadline management) under the directions of eDiscovery supervisor.

-Quality checks processed deliverables to ensure client specifications have been met.

-Effectively troubleshoot all issues related to the project and be able to manipulate data to meet client’s requests.

-Work with entire Production department and Project Management as a team via Proactive and Productive Communication to ensure job accuracy and deadline compliance.

Requirements:

1. Good understanding and current working knowledge of MS Access (MUST) – DO NOT respond if you don’t have any MS Access experience
2. Solid understanding of databases
3. IT background
4. Familiarity with MS Office suit (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Preferred but not required

1. eDiscovery background
2. Working knowledge of LAW(Legal Access Ware)
3. Programming experience (VB, SQL, C++)
4. Working knowledge of Concordance, Summation, Ringtail
