    Position Title: Development and Communications Associate
    Salary: $55k – 60k

    MAIN DUTIES:
    • Develops annual plan for development communications.
    • Writes solicitations and corollary materials for annual fund and special campaigns
    • Develops case statements, donor brochures and other materials.
    • Produces stewardship materials including the Annual Report, thank you letters and newsletters.
    • Develops and manages the organization’s web pages related to development and its profile on external development-oriented websites and other Web-related activities.
    • Manages marketing and branding for development functions including the Annual Gala.
    • Establishes and manages vendor relationships related to development communications.
    • Liaisons with Communications and Grassroots staff on campaigns and projects.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • BS/BA in related field and three to five years of professional development experience.
    • Excellent writing and design skills – working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign or similar design tools.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge Donor Database a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently with only general supervision.
    • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to remain flexible and modify priorities as needed.
    • Commitment to the issue of tobacco control.
