World IT Solutions is seeking sharp, energetic, Data Base Administrators to support the US Army’s ERP system. The Army will employ a hybrid solution using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Agile Development to deliver integrated personnel and pay capabilities, capitalizing on the PeopleSoft product.. The Army plans to use the current Army PeopleSoft 9.1 ERP and Oracle 11g database capabilities, along with Application Technologies outside of the core ERP, to meet user requirements for the total system. This system will be developed and deployed incrementally, with Increment I providing a foundational capability and infrastructure, and Increment II providing full integrated personnel and pay management functionality.
The development, maintenance, support, and documentation for each of these environments includes the multiple instances within each environment, e.g., training, testing, sandboxes, and demonstration.
The successful candidates will work as a a team to update the database design, and maintain the Development Environment and instances, including systems administration, database administration, application administration, and security certification within the construct of the Service Level Agreements. Candidates will also develop and maintain the Primary Data Center and Secondary Data Center Environments and instances, including systems administration, database administration, application administration, and security certification within the construct of the Service Level Agreements.
EDUCATION LEVEL: (BACHELOR’S, MASTER’S, NONE, ETC) Bachelor’s (or demonstrated equivalent experience)
EDUCATION PROGRAM: (SCIENCE, INFORMATION SYSTEMS, MATH, ETC) Information Systems, Management desirable
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: YES OR NO Yes
SECURITY CLEARANCE TYPE: DoD Secret (or ability to obtain)
