ThinkFoodGroup is looking for an Assistant Controller ll
The Assistant Controller assists the CFO with the financial affairs of the organization and with the preparation of financial statements and analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules. The Assistant Controller assists in the preparation of the annual budgets and other financial activities for multiple companies. Position Reports to CFO.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation of the Financial Statements of multiple companies.
Analysis of Financial Accounts and reconciliations for multiple companies.
Performs period balance sheet account analysis of multiple companies.
Books necessary journal entries on a period basis.
Assists in the period-end and year-end closing process.
Responsible for Accurate Forecasting and preparation of annual budget of all restaurants.
Responsible for the TV Show accounting.
Responsible for the Import Business accounting and collection of receivables.
Responsible for the various billing to third parties and collection of receivables.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects for developing and existing businesses.
Assist with the audits of company’s accounts with the outside auditors.
Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
Partner with CFO and Assistant Controller to complete department projects and meet department goals.COMPENTENCIES:

BS in Accounting or related field, 5+ years related work experience
Strong knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts.
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent Interpersonal skills
The ability to listen to, understand, and fluently articulate information and ideas. Must be familiar with business terminology.
Great Plains or Solomon experienced preferred.
