Part-time accounting professional needed for tax season (with possibility of becoming permanent position–but long-term commitment is not a requirement at this time–if you meet our qualifications, you should apply, regardless whether you are available just for the season or long term).

QuickBooks experience required. Positive and professional attitude required. Tax prep experience preferred. Working knowledge of AP, AR, and payroll preferred. Expected hours would be about 12-15 hours/week, perhaps increasing to as many as 30 hours/week in the weeks leading up to the corporate deadline in March and the individual deadline in April.

Most of our work is with private sector companies; however, we also have experience servicing government contractors. We embrace current technologies when they fit our need, including several cloud-based solutions, a user-friendly network environment, google-based email and calendaring, and up-to-date computers. We also keep it simple if that’s what gets the job done.
